Boarded 3K595, JetStar 6am flight. First time on JetStar, budget=P. The 1hr50mins flight was kinda of bumpy due to air turbulene. On-board magazine, JetAway was interesting and it managed to engross me for most of the flight other than the rest of the time when I doze off. Catching up some sleep was good...didn't sleep much the night before after reaching home from work at 10plus and still need to do packing...
Siem Reap Int. Airport - Small, neat with a pinch of asian charm. Time zone diff from sin by an hour earlier. Reached Royal Crown Hotel in ard 30mins. Unable to check in till 11am. Ended up exploring the central market & pasr chaa (old market) area. Had lunch @ blue pumpkin, an air-conditioned cafe with free wi-fi access. It was the author's choice in lonely planet. Had linguine while sis had fish&chips.
Plans were made for the next few days visit to Angkor temples. We decided on taking the tuk-tuk which is open-air. It was more economical for two pax & personally felt that it'll be more interesting to travel in tuk-tuk..after all by travelling in tuk tuk rather than conventional car (the cars seen here are usually toyota camry ranging from the older models to the latest ones) you get to see, feel, hear etc & use all your five sensory..why not? So we decided & hope for the best=)
